The Hibiya Cinema Festival aims to be an event where people can enjoy the wonder of movies from different perspectives. The theme for 2025 is "Nagara Cinema". It's a follow-up of last year's concept, “Cinema While Doing Other Things.” Unlike the usual quiet theater setting, the outdoor screenings invite a picnic-like atmosphere—you can eat, drink, chat, or simply relax under the night sky. New seating with artificial turf makes the plaza even more comfortable for moviegoers.
More information about the event's schedule can be found on the official Hibiya Cinema Festival website.
Tokyo Midtown Hibiya has a direct link to Hibiya Station, which is served by the Tokyo Metro's Chiyoda Line and Hibiya Line, and the Toei Subway's Mita Line. Alternatively, the venue is four minutes on foot from Yurakucho Station (Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line), or five minutes on foot from Ginza Station (Tokyo Metro Ginza, Hibiya, and Marunouchi Lines).
For those who opt to drive, parking is available at the venue for up to 200 vehicles, at a cost of 300 yen per 30 minute increment. Purchases made within the Midtown Hibiya complex can be used towards partial or full parking validation depending on the amounts spent.
