Scenes from historic, quaint area in Tokushima City
The area around Tokushima University is quite scenic and worth checking out. It's about a 20-30 minute walk from Tokushima Station, so venture out, and you won't be disappointed. The small prefecture of Tokushima is part of Shikoku.
In the area are the historic Tokushima Castle Ruins, river views, public art, walking paths surrounded by nature, as well as a river boardwalk. It's just minutes away from the accessible and charming university campus.
