The Kobe Illuminage Countdown Festival is an annual New Year's Eve event beloved by many visitors. This year, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Kobe Illuminage, it will be held on an unprecedented scale. Japan's largest illuminations will light up the night sky, and music and light will combine for a one-night-only special night. There will be a wide variety of programs to enjoy across generations, including a drone show, bubble show, live stage performances, and DJ live shows.

"Garden Dream" Concept
With the theme of "Garden Dream," the venue will be transformed into a dream garden.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of one of Japan's largest illumination events.
Along with the special 15th anniversary project, we will provide all visitors with excitement, surprise, and joy.
Welcome side entrance
Once you pass through the gate, you will find yourself in a world where light blooms like flowers.
A series of brightly colored stained-glass style arches create the illusion of the entrance to a secret garden.
It gently invites visitors into a world of dreams.
"Angel Garden"
Under the night sky, Angel Garden is enveloped in a quiet light.
Light flows, and angels and adorable cupids watch over the path. A fantastical and gentle sight.
We will transform this place into a heavenly sanctuary.
"Luxury Cruise Ship of Light"
A special port where light and romance meet.
Alongside the popular Pink Palace spot in front of the hotel, a new attraction this year is the Luxury Cruise Ship of Light.
The glittering pink palace and the lighted cruise ship reminiscent of classic Western architecture are lined up side by side.
It's like a luxury cruise ship anchored in the harbor facing a foreign palace.
You can experience the romance and splendour of the port city of Kobe all at once.
