Numerous beer festivals take place across Japan throughout the year, but if you're after one with an iconic view be sure to check out the Tokyo Tower Beer Festival this April. The event takes place at the Tokyo Tower south side parking lot, and is set to include almost 30 beers on tap for attendees to try.
It wouldn't be a beer festival without food options, and there will be plenty of those to choose from. From fluffy French fries and sausages through to churros and pretzels, there will be no shortage of eats to pair with your beverage(s) of choice.
Admission to the event itself is free, but bring yen if you plan to purchase food and beer. Please note that on the first day of the event the hours are only from 4pm-9pm (last orders at 8.30pm) but for the remainder of the event the hours are 11am-9pm (last orders at 8.30pm).
Getting there
The Tokyo Tower south side parking lot can be accessed in around 5 minutes on foot from Akabanebashi Station (Toei Oedo subway line).
