On weekdays from July 1st (Thursday) until August 31st (Tuesday), The Westin Tokyo will be hosting a matcha dessert buffet event. Around 40 different sweets using top quality Uji and Nishio matcha will be on offer, including the likes of a matcha and pistachio Mont Blanc, a matcha and apricot tart, and a matcha and chocolate dome cake.
The dessert buffet is priced at ¥ 5,400 for the 2 hour sitting, or ¥ 5,600 for the 2.5 hour sitting.
Getting there
The Westin Tokyo is located around 10 minutes on foot (or a five minute taxi ride) from either Ebisu Station (JR Saikyo Line, Shonan-Shinjuku Line, and Yamanote Line) or Meguro Station (JR Yamanote Line, Tokyu Meguro Line, Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, and the Toei Mita Line).
For those who opt to drive, on-site parking is available. It's typically charged at a rate of 1200 yen/hour, but people who spend over 3000 yen at the hotel's restaurants receive three hours parking for free.
