“Beside” – an exhibition of Jun Oson, an illustrator based in Tokyo, was held from April 26 to May 8, 2016 at the Tambourin Gallery. Oson’s works are composed of vivid illustrations of people having their day by day experiences – the small things that happen to people which are seemingly unimportant but in truth are quite relevant. His objective for this theme is to make a good and lasting impression on people without having them think too much about the artwork. Something they can put aside, or rather "beside" them. Aside from prints on wood, Oson’s exhibition included prints on a shirt, button pins, and collaborations of ceramic and woodworks with other artists.
