The Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen connects Nagasaki City to Takeo Onsen in Saga Prefecture, and the route commenced service in late September of 2022. Ureshino Onsen Station is one of the stops along the line, and a festival is being held there to celebrate all things trains this February.
The event will include mini train rides for children, food stalls offering various eats for sale, cultural performances, and auctions of train-related paraphernalia.
If you're a train aficionado and you're in the area, be sure to stop by and take a look. Please note that in the event of bad weather the festival may be cancelled.
