Highlights

West/Central West Gate

The West Gate is closest to the Odakyu, Keio, and Marunouchi Lines. Near this exit you can enjoy the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Observatory, as well as catch bus lines to Narita and Haneda Airport.

East/Central East Gate

From the East Gate, you can reach the Seibu Shinjuku Line and Tokyo Metro Lines. Outside of the station, explore the Kabukicho entertainment district, the Samurai Museum, and other fun spots.

South Gate

The South Gate includes the South, South East, Shinnan (New South), Miraina Tower, and Koshu Kaido Gates. The Shinnan, Miraina Tower, and Koshu Kaido Gates are separate from the main station building and provide access to the Basuta Shinjuku Bus Terminal. From the South and South East Gates you can access the Odakyu, Keio, Toei Oedo, and Toei Shinjuku Lines. Popular spots around this exit are the Shinjuku Imperial Garden and Shinjuku Takashimaya, a famous department store.

Shinjuku Station is located in the western part of Shinjuku City and is about a 15- to 20-train ride from Tokyo Station.
