Issiki Beach in Hayama is considered to be a cool, adult beach in the Shonan area. The best time to enjoy its cozy ambience is just before the bathing season begins. People (and dogs) scatter to their own favorite spots and spend time under a clear, blue sky. There is a lawn area near the sand where you can just stretch out and feel the sea breeze.
Getting there
Please use the Museum of Modern Art, Hayama (Sangaoka bus stop) as your landmark, if you drive. Or just get off the bus at Issiki Kaigan. It is a 3-minute walk from the bus stop.
