Our tour will have a sustainability focus too, as we explore the local land, blessed with a mild climate and an abundance of nature and foodstuffs. We will join a farm stay where guests harvest local vegetables and cook rice in a traditional kamado oven.
All of the ingredients come together to make our sukiyaki dish which we will taste towards the end of the tour. The local Matsusaka beef is the pride of Mie Prefecture and is treated as a work of art as its presented and prepared. When added to sukiyaki, the meat flavor fills the air and adds to the flavor of the soup and vegetables. The meat itself is sliced thinly and so soft that it almost melts in your mouth.
Attendees are welcome to participate in the tour through a live chat session with our guides to help answer questions along the way!
