Yokohama's Rinko Park

There are six pleasant parks alongside Yokohama Bay. Rinko Park is just behind the Pacifico Yokohama (Hotel and Convention Center). You can enjoy a really beautiful bay view from here, but it is actually a little known spot for visitors. If you stay at a hotel in the Minato-Mirai 21 area, please be sure to take a walk in this park. It's also a great place to have a picnic. There is a pond in the northwest corner of the park into which seawater comes pouring in during high tide.  An index of this series is here.
