Odawara Castle alone is a well-deserved tourist destination. The inside of the castle has been restored into a museum full of artifacts from feudal Japan, and even offers opportunities to dress up in historic wear. In the springtime, the castle becomes a popular destination because of its cherry blossoms. Among the highlights (besides the blossoms themselves) is the sakura soft cream and the great reaction local people seem to have when the cherry blossoms bloom.
