Kamakura’s Yui-ga-hama Shore

Yui-ga-hama is a horseshoe shaped beach that has relatively small tides. So it’s good for beginner surfers. But during summer (July 1 – August 31) surfing is not permitted in a daytime. The beach becomes the exclusive domain of passionate swimmers, and suntan lovers. Many beach houses, restaurants and bars also set up shop during the summer months.
