A special exhibition taking place at the POLA Museum of Art looks at the works of Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita (1886 - 1968), a Japanese-French artist who was known for using Japanese ink techniques in Western-style paintings. Foujita traveled to France when he was 26 with the goal of becoming a world-class painter, and also visited many other places across the globe - South, Central, and North America, China and Southeast Asia, and numerous destinations throughout Japan.

This event will explore Foujita's use of color which was influenced by his travel journeys, and how this impacted the style of his works across his career.

Adult admission to the museum is priced at 1800 yen.
