Arts in the Age of the Airplane 2021

A special exhibition at the Yokosuka Museum of Art

活動地點: Yokosuka Museum of Art 時間: Feb 6th - Apr 11th 2021

A special exhibition taking place at the Yokosuka Museum of Art looks at the influence that airplanes have had on the art world. Around 50 works in total will be on display at the event, many of which date back to the 1930s and 1940s when flying was still seen as having some mystery and allure surrounding it. Some of the artists featured include Koshiro Onchi, Kenichi Nakamura, and Ryuko Kawabata.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 1000 yen, and no advance reservations are required.

Alternatively, for those who opt to drive, the museum is 3 kilometers (approximately 5 minutes driving time) from the Maborikaigan IC on the Yokohama-Yokosuka Toll Road. Paid on-site parking is available for up to 120 vehicles.
