Sapporo's Shiroi Kobito Park is a chocolate-themed entertainment park operated by the manufacturers of Shiroi Koibito, a popular sweet treat in Japan comprising of chocolate sandwiched between two cookies. A special winter event at the park brings the fun and beauty of illuminations indoors, and it runs all the way through until White Day (March 14th).
Part of the illumination event will include AR (Augmented Reality) displays, with snowflakes and other art appearing when the venue is viewed through the XRcity app. The app is available via the Apple Store and Google Play store, so if you plan on visiting be sure to download it ahead of time.
Admission to the park is priced at 800 yen for those 16 and over, 400 yen for children 4 to 15 years old, and free for those aged 3 and under.
