There's no doubt that the botanical world has inspired a wide variety of art since ancient times. A special event taking place at the Hokkaido Kushiro Art Museum explores this concept, and will showcase approximately 200 works including oil and watercolor paintings, prints, and photographs which are related to flowers, trees, and plants.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 900 yen, and no advance reservations are required.
Getting there
The Hokkaido Kushiro Art Museum is located approximately 15 minutes on foot from the JR Kushiro Station, which is served by the Nemuro Main Line.
For those who plan to drive to the museum, there is limited on site parking available (8 spaces). If the on site parking is full, patrons can utilize the multi-story Kushiro Nishikicho parking lot nearby. If you present your parking ticket at the reception desk, the staff will be able to partially validate it for you.
