Held for the first time in 2022, the Kinoene Night Market is a summertime celebration of good food, good drinks, and good music. The event takes place at Chiba's Iinuma Honke brewery, a venue that has been preserving and perfecting the art of sake-making for approximately 300 years.
The event will include a wide variety of live music performances, sake tasting areas, and numerous food booths selling Japanese, Chinese, and Italian cuisine. To really push the summer festival atmosphere, guests who attend the event wearing yukata will receive one free drink.
Purchasing tickets for the event in advance yields a slight discount compared to on-the-day tickets (5000 yen in advance as opposed to 6000 yen on the day), and you can arrange them online via the official website here.
Getting there
The Iinuma Honke sake brewery can be accessed in around 12 minutes on foot from Minami-Shisui Station, which is served by the JR Sōbu Main Line.
