北方惠澤食之市集的旭川美食祭，是每年都會在JR旭川站前固定舉辦的活動。在市集內會販賣北海道旭川市當地生產的產品，以及本州北部區域的產品。
旭川冰祭是北海道大型的冬天祭典，與札幌雪祭同時間舉辦。
